Video Game Blues

Have you ever gotten stuck in a level or part of a game you are playing and cannot figure out how to get past it? I know I have and I have figured out to stop freaking out over being stuck. There are six steps to getting out of the frustration of being stuck in a video game, and I call them My Six Steps to Avoid Destroying Your Video Game Console.

The Six steps to Avoid Destroying Your Video Game Console
  1. Test out some theories on how to get past the part (If it works more power to you).
  2. If step one doesn't work then take a deep breath and take a break.
  3. After you've done step two return to the game and try step one again.
  4. If doing steps 1-3 does not work turn on your computer go to goggle and look up a walk through of the game you are playing.
  5. If the game walk through is giving you nothing but nonsense go to the phone and call up your super gamer friend(s) to see what he/she/they have to tell you.
  6. If what your friends' advice doesn't work turn off the game and try the game tomorrow repeating steps 1-5
Well, I hope you find these six steps help full.
(Disclaimer)
(please be careful these steps may not work for everyone. They may actually cause worse agression in some serious gamers and will result in high blood pressure and eventual loss of the game console. Ask your friends if these steps are right for you.)

The Wisdom I've learned from My Cats

My cats are full interesting things to learn. For instance, when your hungry annoy the people who are supposed to feed you endlessly until they feed you, and then be happy and precede to stuff your face. That is one of the things that only is good for a cat to know because if a human were to try to do that they would wind up with a swift kick in the butt or slap in the face. But, there are many good things you can learn from a cat. Here is a list of the things I have learned from my cat.
  1. Wash yourself before every meal. (good hygiene counts)
  2. Give others some room. (Not everyone is as cozy as you are)
  3. Never do things too fast, pace yourself.
  4. Be open to new ideas from your friends.
  5. If you get into a fight with your friend give them some room to cool down before you try to talk(play) with them again.
  6. If something hurts say something about it.
Those are just a few things I've learned from my cats, and I hope we all can put this wisdom to good use.

Video of the Month: The Ultimate Showdown

Character of the Month: Luke Skywalker

For The month of September is my all time favorite character Luke Sykwalker!!!! Luke is gentle and sometimes a bit naive, but he always comes through for his friends. He's a hopeless romantic, and is a real sweet heart. He is truly heroic, but he doesn't always look before he leaps. He's a bit reckless, but he starts to finally get the point towards the last movie. He's also really cute! I personally have a huge crush on him!!! He's so cool! Well, hope to see for the next post. This is Leslie signing off.

Sailor moon!

I think Sailor moon (the show not the character) is awesome! My favorite character is Sailor Mercury! She so smart and studies hard and wants to get ahead in school just like me! I wish Sailor Moon and Sailor Mercury switched places, because I think Amy would do better as Sailor Moon than Serenia does, because Amy's smart and works hard. But, anyway I love Sailor Moon! Call me crazy, but I don't care.

My Art

I just love to draw, and I have fun doing so. It takes a long time to get a finished piece done. So, when ever I have new finished works I'll post them here on my blog. It's also hard coming up with names for them so you can give suggestions for the names to help me out.

Thriller!

I know there is a lot of hopla about Michael Jackson now that he's dead, but I'm a big fan of his older stuff. Thriller was one of his first music videos and it's the longset songs ever, longest music videos in history! It is an awesome video to watch if you have time. It's also pretty funny and cheesy to watch from start to finish. Hope you like it!

Charater of the Week: Link from Legend of Zelda

Now the reason I chose Link for this high honor is because (a) he's always ready to do what's right; (b) he never gives up or gives in; (c) he takes charge and is a really go getter, and a go and doer; (d) he's always willing to help the other guy; (e) he good and kind, and (f) he's cute and great with kids. Link is the hero of the Legend of Zelda world. Who knows what would happend without him?! So, here's to Link! (You think he'd call me? He is one cute guy...Naw! I'm just messin' with ya! TTYL!!)

Video Game of the Month: Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

One of my personal favorite video games is Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. This game is only available for the Wii. My thoughts on this game is... It's totally AWESOME!!!!! Man you have to play it to believe it! The graphics are insanely cool! The story line rocks, and it's so puzzling you'll swear it's a brain buster every time you play. The Legend of Zelda series was started years ago with the old Nintendo, and then expanded to other systems Nintendo made, and they were on the computer as well. The other games are not really related to one another with a few odd balls like the Windwaker, and Phantom Hourglass games. The other games are as listed: Legend of Zelda (the original game), Four Swords, Link's awakening, Ocarina of Time, Windwaker, Majora's Mask, Phantom Hourglass, and many more. This Legend of Zelda in my mind is the best out of all these games. So do yourself a favor buy a Wii (if you don't already have one), and buy this game and blow your brains out on it (that's if your a serious gamer like me and a few of my close friends are). I hope you enjoy this monthly highlight. I'll be doing this every month.

The Pink Panther

Now, when ever most people now hear the words "The Pink Panther" they think of the movie with Steve Martin, but The Pink Panther was originally a cartoon from the sixties or seventies. It was about a Pink Panther that got himself into all sorts of crazy, and funny problems and he'd always find a way out, or it would end in a funny and unexcepted plot twist. So every week I'm going to post a new Pink Panther episode for you guys to enjoy. Hope you like it!

I'm Back, but not in black!!!!

Hi guys! Sorry I haven't been posting in a while, but here's some news for you. I'm on my way home from a school in Utah, and on my way to private school in Maryland back home. You'll be hearing a lot more from me from now on. I hope you're ready for this new, and improved me!
